At the time of writing this there were only 3 reviews, 2 giving this product 5 stars and 1 giving 1 star.

The 1-star review simply stated "No good". Not much help...

The first 5-star review stated that it held an "oversized" pen and the second: "More expensive than I would like - seems that they are cheap to make, but lower volume likely precludes That said, they are extremely well made, protects expensive pens, and offer a method to keep pens and notebook together. Although "double" pen quiver, this is meant for normal size pens and pencils. Will not get two large barrel pens in these."

I agree more with the 5-star reviews, so why only 3 stars? Firstly, yes, the quiver is well made, but the pocket for the pens is made of thick leather, so if you have a nice pen in there, the clip may get bent out of shape if it's left in for a long time (not good for expensive pens). Secondly, the pocket is c. 6" (15cm) deep - enough to swallow your pen and make it difficult to get out unless you use the clip to hold it in place (may not be a good idea for reasons outlined above). I solved this problem by wadding up some paper and shoving it down the pocket to the bottom to fill up that annoying 1"/2.54cm extra depth.

The final reason for the lower rating is that this product is expensive for what it is. Also, although described as a ""Double" quiver, it will not hold 2 fatter pens. It's great for a single outsized one. I have a Parker "Jotter" ballpoint and pencil in there.

Works well - but couple of points - (1) Make sure that the fit is tight - i had a rotring 600 and another pen in it and the rotring fell out when i was walking with the book (2) The leather wraps over the cover. When you open up the notebook flat to write - the left page will cover the leather and this creates an uneven surface as the thickenss of the leather creates bumps on the left page and make it hard to write

Perfect. My husband was delighted. He is a confirmed moleskine aficionado and a difficult man to buy presents for, but this did the trick. It's simple but nicely made and fits well on the moleskine. Actually I bought the size that should fit vertically on a smaller (A5ish) notebook, but he prefers to use it on his larger (A4ish) moleskine horizontally, which holds the notebook shut. Really nice product. Fits two Cross pens snugly side by side without rubbing unduly against one another.

Really nice idea, keeps two pens securely against your book so you don't need to take a pencil case about the place or lose your pen in the bottom of your bag. It fits quite tightly to an A5 book, and wouldn't go well with a paperback, but it is good quality and looks like it could withstand some punishment!

Bought as a present and the recipient loves it. It makes a simple moleskin book look like a very much more expensive item and can be slipped onto new books as needed. I'm also sure that being leather it will wear to a lovely patina with time.

Very well made. Fits the book well (but not compatible with soft covers). Room for a slim mechanical pencil and a pen at the same time. Would fit just one fat pen comfortably. My only issue (apart from the price!) is that you can't write properly on the left hand pages until you are about 30 pages into the book because the back of the binder creates a lump in the paper.

I'm a big fan of moleskin notepads but always had the problem of where to put my pen. It's pricey but well worth the cost to keep your pens stuck to your notepad. Quality materials and finish, looks very premium. Recommend for any professional...

The product itself is brilliant. But this does not fit my A5 Moleskine notebook. It seems that Amazon have labelled it wrongly and this is for the A6 one.

This holds a couple of pens against my Moleskine pads that I always use. Looks great and keeps me organised! Having had this for over 2 years it has lasted very well and still looks great.

This is probably one of the best things I have purchased in terms of "office accessories". Besides making sure you do not lose your pen, it is a very elegant and professional looking addition to your notebooks. The pen holder has a very good finish and is very durable.
